Is it Over Yet?....
It's looking look the Jets are going to blow up the team this off-season with at least Tannebaum and Sparano gone on Monday, although I'm not sure what any coordinator could do with the offense the Jets has, and probably more moves to be mad throughout the off-season.

Sunday
Greg McElroy suffered a concussion so Mark Sanchez will be starting against the Bills. McElroy's future may be in question after this injury.

Mack Stats
Greg McElroy: 14/24 185 yds 0 TD 1 INT 1 FUM 4 attempts/25 yds 10 sacks
It wasn't pretty but he could not have had less help on offense.

Game Thoughts
Things we know- The Jets receivers can't get open, the line can't block for McElroy, McElroy has one more shot.
GMACK
Interception #1, He's been getting hit all day, hopefully well get one more chance to see him play next week against Bufffalo
Game Day
In three hours Greg McElroy will make his first start as an NFL quarterback. How he Jets approach this game is an interesting question. My guess is they'll be conservative and not really open up the offense for McElroy. But why, the season's over and I think now is perfect time for the Jets to see what he can do. I say give him the reins and let him show the world if he can stick in the NFL, if he can be the guy the Jets have been needing for a very long time. At 1:00 ET, we will find out, I know I can't wait.

Greg McElroy: Game Preview Week 16
So this has been a season full of ups and downs for the New York Jets. Most of the time its been down and when its down, its ugly. I think a fitting end to the Jets season occurred on Monday night against the Titans. Mark Sanchez threw four interceptions and had one game ending fumble to secure the loss. What does it mean? It means the Jets now get to see two games of the one quarterback who hasn't proven himself for the green and white yet. An accurate passer with a history of winning, Greg McElroy will start for the first time in his career against the lowly San Diego Chargers. He has two games to prove that the Jets have the future quarterback already on the team. Not to make any irrational comparisons, but there are some striking coincidences between Greg McElroy and Joe Namath. Both attended the University of Alabama. Both wore the number 12. Both won a championship with the Crimson Tide. If anything, its good karma. What we don't know is how McElroy can play with the pressure on him; with 80,000 critics and plenty of newspapers to scrutinize every mistake. Signs point to yes (see video below), hes a smart quarterback who can handle pressure on the national level (Alabama). Only so much can be said before the game, now it's time to see what he does on the field.
Welcome to Mack Attack
Welcome to my blog about New York Jets Starting quarterback Greg McElroy. NFL fans around the league rejoiced tuesday when Mark Sanchez was benched for the season. McElroy is now the future of the team for the next two weeks.
